all the prominent torrent groups start with the same scene release,
so if the scene release "those who kill us s01e02 hdtv x264-excellence"
is oos, then it doesn't matter what torrent group (ettv, eztv, vtv, tvteam, etc.)
you get it from, they will all be oos.
title: those who kill us
season/episode: s01e02
cap source: hdtv
codec: x264
scene group name: excellence
anyone else (other than triscorp) experiencing oos?
this release has not been nuked by the scene.
there are thousands of downloads so far and no other
reports of oos here or any of the other torrent site.
nuked: those.who.kill.us.s01e02.hdtv.x264-excellence reason: 2.seconds.out.of.sync.throughout_contains.commercial.audio_get.2hd.proper successor: those.who.kill.us.s01e02.proper.hdtv.x264-2hd
it's on our list. we will have it later.
yes. most torrent groups use the same scene source file.
afg included, although he may obtain from other sources
as well, but mostly scene release. as far as i know, afg
does not cap his own material, and unlike other torrent
groups, afg strips the scene group's name (which really
pissed off some scene groups) then he re-encodes to .avi,
and adds his name, afg. there may be times, if the oos issue
is know before afg does his re-encode, that he may be able
to correct the oos before re-encoding...but usually not,
usually it's already been done, in circulation, and too late.
excellence group are bad, they always have problems with their torrents,
they even have a habbit of cutting off 30seconds to a minute of a shows end
of episode. hate it when a torrent release of a show i watch is excellence and
theres no other group release and i have to watch theirs, im always thinking..
"hope they've not cut off the end of the episode again!".
but i agree with the speed over quality post.. its the scene trying to get their
releases out before anyone else.. quite pathetic really, its almost like an age
old battle thats been going since the dawn of torrents.
we live in a wonderful time. remember ten years ago or so when there were still a lot of divx3/4
files everywhere and nothing was in sync ever, there was often motion artifacts in any action scene.
this is a wonderful time when one file out of sync creates such a scandal.
