hoping this is the last we see of danny's mom (melanie griffith.) not sure if she's less skilled acting-wise
than christine lahti as steve's mom...but it's certainly close. at least she wasn't also attempting to be
some sort of cia super-spy.
i don't mind the occasional personal back-story stuff with our main characters but when it takes a front
seat, like all the overdone story bits with kono and adam (which, if my googling was correct, was to give
grace park some time off to have a baby), or steve's mom being a spy who's been on the run for most of
steve's adult life. it's a cop show at heart, and i really just want to see cop stuff...and hawai'i, of course.
