fox announced that kitchen nightmares would be airing in enlisted's timeslot

it's silly and lame indeed! and i have to agree, there is something here that keeps me watching it. it feels
like a show with great potential, mainly due to the large quirky supporting cast. the show should focus
more on them instead of on the three brothers.

however, it is not really a "good" comedy. the way it tries to ridicule and at the same time pander (to) the
us military feels wrong, and is not working for me. it has its moments, but the "feel good" endings just
make me want to barf.

i don't see this show returning for a second season, nor do i see the show's remaining episodes being
aired in a new time slot.

fox pulled enlisted from its schedule after the ninth aired episode on march 28, 2014.
the network has stated it will air the remaining four episodes at some point, but hasn't provided
dates yet. ratings have been poor, but many who enjoy the show blame the fox network for
that and say enlisted was doomed from the start with its mid-season pickup, friday time slot, being
paired with the on-its-last-legs raising hope, and episodes airing out of sequence. the program
appears to be headed for cancellation, despite pleas from fans in the military and some tv writers
to keep it on the air. the army times has also written an editorial asking fox to give the show
