good lord- how is this not canceled?

probably because millions of people enjoy it, including myself 😛
if it makes you feel better, this is the final season.

i like the show.. but the mid-season breaks are way too long.
so i've lost interest multiple times during it's run.
it's too bad. but anyway, i'm looking forward to watching this.

i liked it once, stopped watching a few seasons ago tho

because they usually show tits in the first episode (and those after)

maybe- i watched it awhile but couldn't get over how thoroughly unlikable the main character was-
like rake without being a comedic sad sack
or house without saving lives and the excuse of chronic pain/disability.
it's different for a one-shot entertainment like mike leigh's naked or even macbeth,
but if i'm going to repeatedly watch despicable people for an hour,
i just tune in to c-span or cnn and at least come away better informed.

or am i barking up the wrong tree?
did duchovny's character become less of a smirking jerk over time?

ps: i feel similarly about don draper/dick whitman (dick being more appropriate), but i know too
many people who use mad men for water cooler chitchat to abandon it altogether.
