[edit] this was actually a really fun pbs special! tells you about all sorts of cool hoagie, po-boy,
steak, , burger, cold-cut, pork and sea-based sammiches, many of which i never even fathomed,
and the cool locations you can mark down for your travels. if i'd have had the ingredients, i woulda
made a nice french-dip roast beef while watching this, but unfortunately i had to settle only for
some fresh homemade french fries. you'll be wantin to get a good local sandwich after watching
this, guaranteed.

it's about time they made a documentary about this. like everyone else i'm a glutton (*snicker*)
for all the the the murder/medical/legal procedurals about sandwiches that i'll like, but it has
usually been the single cam comedies about sandwiches that i'll like that get me right in the feels.
maybe there's just too much bad writing in those drama sandwich shows that it just doesn't feel
like it really relates to my experiences with sandwiches (which usually involves a lot of laughter
anyway).

but it's nice to see a bold, fresh take on the issue with this non-fictional approach. less than 30
seconds into this documentary, i've already seen 10 people echo my feelings about sandwiches, and i
know there is gonna be some good laughs down the road. thanks to the director for making this--it's
a brilliant, original take on a tired subject, and for anybody out there wondering, "sandwiches that
you will like" is a movie that you will like.

forget those super-sized macdonald's- this show is not for the faint of heart. you'll see the true
american sandwich in it's full glory, accompanied by the multi-cultural comments of those who crave
for and live by them. i gained 5 pounds by just watching this!
