and here i was going to make fun of all the american ideas of what sweden is like...
just to find a swedish name as director, and two big swedish actors in the intro... 😛

so i guess they will get a few things right for once ;-)

refreshing to se a show where people where talking real fluent swedish for once, and not the horrible
nonsense wannabe-swedish you hear in american shows ;-)

but i wonder how many new weird ideas this show will put in the head of americans, most events in this
show was made to be comical, and not necessarily "real swedish" behaviour.

but still, it was refreshing to see, and legit swedish for once 🙂

too much subtitles.
as much as i like the show, it's like watching "switched at birth".
might as well wait for the book.

maybe its just that i've grown up watching everything subtitled, it comes naturally.

and this being a sitcom about sweden, its pretty hard to get the point across without having them speak
swedish. gonna watch this for sure, it was really fun, and had me in stitches.


i loved their smooth accent; when i was taught swedish at school, the books that had audio cd:s sounded
horrible.

where did you go to school?(if you don't mind me asking) and why did they learn swedish with audio cd's?
you peaked my curiosity 😉

finland; our swedish teacher wasnt a native, and our study books (in elementary and middle
school) came with cliche cd's that made everyone want to throw the books out. the kind of "native"
swedish they have in the show is the kind of swedish i wanted to learn back then 😛
