hydroxyzine is actually prescribed to lessen withdrawal symptoms and "cravings", especially for
alcohol. it has no addictive qualities and does not make you "high", at all. it is a very mild and
widely used anxiolytic.
it is also given to toddlers... (against itching and allergic reactions).
i've been to rehab, so i do know. plus, i am quite an accomplished autodidact pharmacologist! ;-)
the makers of the show need to make some more fact checking!
