february 09, 2014, bbc one renewed the series for a second season.
filming began in april 2014. series producer and writers adrian hodges has revealed that the
scripts and story-lines are much more geared to a later, post-watershed audience. viewers of
season two can expect extra gruesome fight scenes and lots more swashbuckling bedroom scenes!
