hey, i'm not an uploader - but i am certainly one of the many who benefits greatly from, regularly
uses, and relies on eztv. btw, and not just as an afterthought, ever so many thanks for all you do!
seems like chipping in would be only appropriate, and i do have time, abilities, creativity, and
common sense. but... before posting an example of "what i can do", perhaps a short and sweet job
description of "content administrator" might be helpful??
we have certainly all noticed that the home screen schedules of what shows are playing on a given
day/night have become woefully inaccurate and out of date. is maintenance of this schedule the
primary responsibility? does it include the brief descriptions of each show, with background
picture and projected airing schedule, with episode title when possible? does in include
participation in the decision as to which shows to include in the eztv "stable"? further
responsibilities? deadlines?
please consider this posting as a query, a thank you, and a statement of interest all wrapped up in
one. best.
so has boonesferry quit/left? i think it is a good idea to source this out to about 3/4 individuals. that way the work doesn't
overwhelm any one individual and as a team, things can be managed, organised and delegated much more easily, efficiently
and quickly.
if i wasn't too old for this stuff, i would apply. but for now, i like macmanjunk's application the most. how
can i vote for you?:) good luck to you sir, i think this job is most fit for you.
for you fellas, who have no previous experience with administration or moderation, or any kind of site
content editing, i would strongly suggest to think before you apply. for inexperienced it will require a lot of
time and lots of patience, at least in the beginning. i think that's why novaking wants to see how you do
with basics first:)
