is a lot of it out of sync or just a couple seconds? i.e. should people stop
downloading it or just keep going since any normal person wouldn't notice anyway...
no, the bia release is not the one to get. if you look more closely you'll see
the bia release is for episode 1. this is episode 2. there is no proper for
episode 2 yet. you'll hvae to wait a bit longer.
the river version is pdtv and is a repack of an earlier pdtv release which was
nuked because it had no audio at all... it's not hdtv. if you want hdtv of ep 2
you need fix the sync issue yourself, wait for a gothic repack/proper or wait
for a proper by someone else (i'm hopin for a bia proper myself).
you people are blind, the river repack is of their own pdtv release, not this
hdtv release, what you need to look for is
"torchwood.s01e02.repack.hdtv.xvid-gothic"
here is a rundown of all releases so far tonight:
(latest to oldest)
according to the pre sites it has been nuked, and gothic have released a repack
without complaint which woudn't have happened if it was unfounded.
as far as why mininova comments hasn't shown anyone complaining...
* sync issues don't always appear the same on all systems and there's been no
mention of how badly out of sync it is.
* i think it only needs to be a small amount for a relatively short time to be
nuked but it may not be noticeable.
* some people have downloaded the file but not actually watched it yet and
others are probably complaining in other forums about the download they got from
mininova rather than on the mininova forums.
and others don't care because they fix it themselves using virtualdub etc. or
use a player which can correct sync like mpc or vlc.
