secondly we decided to release the lol version anyways, we don't have to follow
pre races, just so you know. we personally believe the lol would be a better
one, so we released that.
i realise eztv doesn't have to follow pre races but some downloaders might be
interested and so long as the source and reason is given why is telling them a
problem?
an encode that's been nuked (in this case there's no fault in the encode
involved, but especially when there's a fault) will generally have fewer peers
and a shorter life as more people become aware of the status. and when there's a
fault, letting people know is even more important.
apparently none... xor simply beat lol to getting the release out and sites that
follow scene releases will typically follow scene rules and nuke the second
release. some sites... including eztv apparently... will choose the one the want
and other sites will keep both and let the user decide which one to download.
but both encodes are to scene standards so it's up to you.
i thought giving people the information so they could decide for themselves was
a decent idea (esp. if they intend to share the file at other sites) but
apparently not.
most tv torrents on other torrent sites live and die by what is distributed by
eztv... usually the majority of their stock is made up of stuff that was
downloaded from eztv first anyway... so i dont think we'll have a problem with it..
