or it means that cbs has some serious doubts about some of
their new shows and
they're planning on using those 7 jericho episodes as filler in case of early
cancellations. given what happened with smith and 3 lbs this season, it's a safe
bet that they'll come in handy.
i wish i had done the nuts thing butsince i livei n france it would have been
realy expensive. but a massive big up to all those who did not let it go for all
the warriors out there that fought this battle.
thank you again.
a french jericho fan
"jericho" was doomed in season-1 when it disappeared off the schedule in early
december and viewers and fans were supposed to follow it online.
when "jericho" appeared again it was for the february sweeps. somehow cbs
thought that "jericho" was identifiable to nbc's "heroes."
while "hero's" survived with being off schedule, cbs had nothing to cross
promote "jericho" onto its many other viacom sister tv and cable networks.
with seven episodes in a truncated season two one hopes that the demand is
there for a minimum of 13 weeks/half season. as one posted do you
remember "smith" it doa after one or two episodes because it performed badly
against "law and order svu" and "boston legal."
i do not remember the ratings for "jericho;" however, it was up
against "friday night lights" wednesdays at 8:00 pm and "friday..." almost was
cancelled for low ratings except nbc took a chance and renewed it since it had
to keep some type of drama from this past season if their rebuilding of the
network is going to work.
