BSG: No decision on splitting the season, Caprica project not dead

you would think sci-fi would learn from what happened with atlantis last
season. they went for a long break, which would have been fine except that sky
in the uk ran the series straight through with the inevitable result that
atlantis fans downloaded the show and the ratings tanked when it 'officially'
restarted in the us.

start the damn season already. quit frackin' around. and no splitting it up
either. even 24 and lost have suffered when they did it. not that those are
better shows, they're just more popular.

i'm beginning to become impatient myself.

they really really shouldn't. this show drives on the serial storytelling.
splitting it in two pulls it's viewers from that story and the feeling of
involvement it brings.

i mean .. i personally love watching an entire season in 1 weekend. i'm a
marathon kind of guy. especially bsg, with all it's spirituality is an awesome
way to free yourself from the world you live in .. even if it's only for a weekend.

to think i'll see the end of this story in 2009 ... well it just makes me cry 🙂
maybe we should start sending nuts (ref. jericho) to sci-fi, in order to force
the decision on them. what shall we send? a screw? a paper ship saying "take me
to earth!"?

lost even lost popularity because of it's long absence. the same will happen to
bsg. 10 episodes in one year is not even enough to call it a series anymore.

totally dumb sci-fi, but then again you are sci-fi.
