why is a preview of the show "news" when the pilot is already available on the site?

ohh, i see what you did there -- you made it suck more.

i really liked the pilot. i don't know why the critics have been so lukewarm
about it. chuck, on the other hand, was total ass and the critics loved it.
(simply looking at a magical e-mail causes it to downloaded a massive database
into your brain?!? *boggle*)

come on, lucius vorenus travels in time! he even gets to keep his future
gadgets with him.

the latest in the series of "let's throw shows up against csi: miami and see if
they stick". without any big names or original premise behind this, i don't
expect it to last to christmas. (i'm still mad about studio 60, even though the
end was a giant suckfest.) critics are probably slightly more timid nowadays
because a) when you base all of your opinion on a pilot, you might get screwed
down the road (see: studio 60) or b) a show gets rave reviews, no audience, and
people are subjected to constant bitching for the rest of the season about a
show x being canceled while show y is still on the air (see: undeclared,
arrested development, etc).

i liked the first episode of of journeyman but i don't think it has much
chance of survival, just a little too confusing for a general audience. as to
going up against csi miami, well someone has to stop the increasingly ott
david caruso..
