ive read the books and they are mediocre at best. the show
is waaay better,
which is almost never the case. that alone is a testament to the quality of the
writing and acting.

strongly disagree. the shows great but the books are massively superior!

help me out here, but... what's the "news" part of this article? since this was
posted under the tv news section. i got bored and didn't read the entirety of
it because it didn't look like a news post.

love the show, but hate this article. every major plot twist from last season
is spoiled. there are ging to be interested new viewers reading this and there
is no warning that the author tells the endings. also, not necessary.

i liked the first book but the second one was just boring
and had no direction.
i did like one of the villians though, i forget his name but he was the guy who
cut peoples limbs and stuff off and kept them alive. he made yodeling potatoes.

ahh. good old dr danko. shame the shows not using that storyline this season.
probably too sick and twisted, even for dexter.
the third book looks funny. it comes out in the uk in the next couple of days
i think.

i agree. the books works fine for some light reading, but there is nothing
special about them.

i have to disagree on the acting. hall does a great job, but the rest is very
medicre.

agreed. i found every main character besides dexter to be overdone to the
extreme. hopefully they are more comfortable with the roles this season and the
acting comes out a little more fluidly.

i thought julie benz played rita quite well. agreed about the other supporting
characters though.
