each south park season has two runs, it allows the team to keep up to date with current material and have enough time in between to gather up material for a "bank" episode (as in, a plotline that doesn't involve or can easily be changed to involve current events) they talk about the runs and the bank shows a lot during the commentary on the dvds, especially season 10. |

each season of south park since the second has been split into a spring and fall half, although the exact timing of each has varied. no hd rips exist because the show's not broadcast in hd; the good times with weapons hd version on xbox live was a one-shot version that was redone specifically for live. as of yet, they haven't announced any hd-dvd or blu-ray versions of south park, so the dvds are likely to stay the highest quality option. episode description for 'le petit tourette': after seeing a kid with tourette's syndrome at the toy store, cartman becomes obsessed with it. he finds out that with tourette's, he can say whatever he wants without consequence. naturally, he calls dateline so he can get on national tv and take full advantage of his new found life. |

because this is the second half of season 8, not the beginning. south park seasons are always done in two batches so don't expect a huge run of episodes. |

no, this isn't the season's premiere. technically, south park seasons start somewhere in the spring time, take a break through summer and end somewhere in november/december. so this is the 8th episode of this season, just as it says on the tin hope that helps |
