i'd definitely like to see marsters and brendon. they had such an awkward
"relationship" on buffy, i want to see more of them interacting.

spike, angelus, and buffy

i'm kinda sceptical about this show as it looks like all the characters will
be "reprogramed" every episode so there would be any on going arcs

knowing that whedon is behind it and eliza leads the cast, its going to be
hell of an awesome series. buffy was the best series ever - in my opinion.
angel goes on top of the wrack itself. as for firefly, though short-lived, can
anyone argue it to be something short of great?

when i read the plot of the series, i had my doubts as well. but with whedon
behind it, its going to be one hell of a great ride.

elizibath craft - who served as a producer on angel and the sheild - was
recently taken off from "the woman's murder club" series, and picked up by the
dollhouse team. in one of her comments she says; "dollhouse is going to be an
awesome show, but it's a hard show to sum up in one sentence." and i find it
oddly hard to disagree with her.

will we be seeing this sometime later this year? or sooner?

has anyone heard about ripper? the buffy spin-off; speculated to be a tv movie
than a full blown series, either way it's on my radar. (being produced by joss
whedon as well)

the funny thing about this show is that the premise basically sums up the way
whedon has always treated the actors, or more accurately actresses. on his
shows, just a bunch of puppets he can reprogram at a whim. i have my fingers
crossed this will be another firfly and hopefully after its cancelled no one
will be stupid enough to commission anything from the mysoginistic jackass.
oh and as for firefly, dull junk that was lucky to make it on the air. poor
characterization, inadequately worked out background, dreary plots. a
combination that drove away viewers. forget the conspiracy theories, it was
cancelled because it was bad.

msalmank dollhouse is on of the 4 fox shows so far given a blind commitment
(they got a series order without going through the pilot stage)
they're all for next season
the other 3 are queen b ,the oaks and fringe
strangely for fox 3 of them are female lead

don't know about that. what kind of a personality does whedon have is not
something that i am aware of, and i don't think you can pass judgement on
someone you don't personally know either. from what i've read of whedon said by
actors he's worked with some carry great opinion of the person some don't. but
then, pick anyone and you'll find people of both opinions about them as well. no
one is perfect.

secondly, as for firefly - it is one of the most highest rated shows ever. for
whatever reason it was cancelled remains a mystery (but then fox is popular for
canceling shows that are worth watching). (at imdb the rating for firefly is
9.5/10 and at tv.com it is 9.2/10)

maybe you watched firefly when it was originally aired by fox... i believe that
the episodes were aired not in the right order which created a bit of confusion.
the characterization wasn't oscar worthy or the show wasn't mind-blowing, but it
was more than great. maybe if fox had given it more time to polish up, it would
have gotten better by the end of the season. i mean, look at buffy. the first
season was the weakest season and the series only started getting better by the
end of season 2...

i look forward to dollhouse and hopefully it'll be better than what anyone is
expecting.

also... i'm a huge fan of eliza dushku. tru calling wasn't a perfect series, but
it was better than most out there. i never understood why that got canceled. is
there hope of that ever reviving?

god the lengths some people will go to in excusing whedon, you can show
firefly in any order you like, it\'s still junk. as for the ratings at the
websites those are the result of whedon sycophants voting 500 times each, the
only good thing you can say for them is that they are determined; to the point
of obsssesion. as for his character you can judge that in the way he has
treated actors and the fans of his shows, the way he trashed characters on
buffy when he got bored and wanted to move onto his new project. my only
rregret about firefly getting cancelled so early is that the 'browncoats'
never got to learn the basic lesson of watching a whedon show, sooner or later
he will trash it and dump all over the fans. trust me it will be better for
everyone if 'dollhouse' is canned before anyone gets invested in it.

chill dude! i didn't even try to excuse whedon! re-read my post again. i said
it clearly that i don't know the guy personally nor have ever seen him on air
or anywhere, so won't talk about him.

as for firefly - that i did talk in favor of - to each belongs their opinion.
like i said, i don't think it was an oscar-worthy show and neither was it
everything one'd expect, but it was a great show.

i like firefly. and you don't. it's as simple as that!
people have the right to their own opinions, and i respect that you don't like
firefly but you should also respect the fact that there are many who do.

heck the other day i talked to a guy who said that he didn't like heroes! i
thought he was insance, but then its his choice... :d

best regards.

the internet never seizes to amaze me by its capacity to produce rambling
morons apparently born with the urge to spread their idiocy to the unwilling.

okay not sure whether you mean me or the firefly fans or possibly joss whedon?
