rls-log getting busted by the fbi was a pretty funny april fools joke
fake scene releases were pretty funny when they started years ago on april 1st,

imho, this does not qualify as an "april fool's joke". eztv has a reputation
to unhold; taking part in this type of immature stunt does nothing but tarnish
their reputation, and make them seem foolish themselves. it's almost like eztv
got fooled into posting this, and now people are probably thinking "gee, eztv
sure is gullible and they don't check the stuff on their site!"
frankly, it's not funny. it's not even annoying. it's sad. and i don't have a
limited bandwidth; hell, i haven't even watched this season of lost yet, so i
didn't get taken for anything.
but i feel sorry for eztv, because this simply wasn't funny, wasn't in good
taste, and was a very, very poor decision.

listen to old man river! for how many decades have you had to put up with the
chore of faked scene releases?
i think you'll find it's a first for eztv, and that's the point! it was an
original prank for the site, and as has been commented on, a possible learning
experience for newbies/whiney bitches.
i have thoroughly enjoyed this thread, absolutely hi-larious! i just wish i
could come up with the latin for fuckwits beware!

of dollars going to start going away? hell, if their reputation dwindles, they
don't have to pay as much in monthly bandwidth fees.

agreed with one of the admins, if you have an uber tight can't-spare-a-nanobyte
bandwidth limit, why in the blue fuck have you not adopted the practice of
waiting a while to see if a proper is released?
also agree with another poster, my rss downloaded it, and i'm going to watch it
in its entirety just to spite the admins. :d

i can take a joke, i have a sense of humor. but this was a very bad decision.
i don't care if its april fool's day or not. eztv has ruined its perfect
record. posting this idiotic prank was not worth blemishing the spotless
reputation that eztv once had. anyone that spends any time with torrents knows
the painful chore of downloading fakes and garbage. during the summer when the
pilots hit the internet, or when something airs in the uk months before the us,
you know you can count on eztv to have the goods. it was always a comforting
feeling to go to eztv and see something really good and not for one second have
to debate if it was a fake or not, because as we all know "eztv does not post
fakes!" well, that comforting feeling is gone. now, when something juicy gets
posted and one asks "omg! is this real?!" the response can no longer be...."it
has to be, eztv doesn't post fakes" everyone will have to second guess..."wait,
is this some childish prank?" what gives eztv? i thought you were better
than this. did you not realize how important your spotless record was to the
masses? did you not realize that we counted on your reliability? well, not
anymore, i hope it was worth it.

just a quick thank you to eztv for the literally thousands of frigging shows
that they have shared in the past.
there is a saying about what to do to people who can't take a joke that is
obviously extent here. stop whinging and get your shows from elsewhere you
