i stopped watching after 4 episodes because it was sooo boring!

i agree, the first few episodes were pretty lame.

do i think it has improved since then?
well, i think to quote someone i met on the internet "like omfg yess!!!!1!!11!!!"

no seriously, the show really picks up after about the 6th episode, and the episodes that have been
coming out since the break are f***ing epic!!

even then, i think people just needed to get used to it, because at first it totally looked like
another 'atlantis' when in actual fact this series is very very different to the other two. it's
more about the team (or in this case "crew") rather than mysterious planets and meeting new cultures.

i for one, love it! :-)

i must agree it has improved but i must be honest - there is not much sci-fi series to watch
currently accept sgu, v, and the dr.who - that are at some quality.

this said i am thankful for this new sg spin off while just missig samantha carter :d.

you would be equally bored by this episode, i know i was. sgu did pick up around midseason, more
like actual scifi and not more of the "soap opera in space" ...yawn. to be honest, i only watch it
because i want my stargate fix. i end up using the fast forward button a lot though, lol.

the show is progressively getting stupider.

and this one is crappy, getting jerky till i pause/unpause it every 30 seconds.

a proper? isn't me, i know that, i just watched flashforward and smallville, and a range of other
things recently so its not a codec issue.

are you insane? on drugs? need to be? it was nothing like it.. it was at best a fraking copy of bsg.

now it's got its own style, to be sure... but it's going nowhere..

it's vague and silly. and if they keep it up, it will not see season 3.

wtf? this show is slowly becoming one of the best in the genre. the characters, the mystery, the action ------ which part
isnt exciting you exactly? at least this show doesnt turtle the story like bsg. plus, sgu got perfect balance between sci fi
and character drama. i agree there isnt much competition right now, and dont tell me daleks never get old because they
do. and caprica is not even trying. so until the new star wars and star trek shows get made, sgu is your best bet.

there is no season 3.

i agree, i usually end up fast forwarding over like 10 minutes worth of each episode.

is not getting better or i just can't see it.
i'm a big fan of stargate but this is not stargate. in this episod they show the gate for just 10
sec or so.
10 seconds and that was for actually no reason.

did they try to mimic or copy bsg?
and something else, there is no light, everything is dark. you need to stress yourself to see what's
going on.

very boring show, no action, no scifi, maybe i'll start watching "young and restless", i'll get more
action there, yeah that's it.

thank you... i was afraid there were no sane person left when i read the above posts, this show is in
season 2 already and nothing has happend!! the worst filler episode from the original stargate series
were more exciting than this entire show

i was extremely skeptical when i started watching this show.

it is not a typical stargate show, and i would prefer more sg-1 or atlantis episodes, but this show
do have a different type of quality, a more "realistic" feeling if you may.

there is several good episodes released as well, they are not all bad.
but a bit more action, and a little less "space soap" would not hurt ether.

this show do seem to make me exited every time it pops up on eztv, and i don't get that from to many
of the 20 shows i follow on eztv, so they must be doing something right 😉

...or it might just be that it gives me some of that stargate fix i need 😉 hehe
