it was ok. this show is very much like perception. a collage professor that has a mental illness that helps
the fbi. this just has twist to it. so i hope it gets better.

for any skeptics out there. this show seems really good. i have only watched the first episodes and i
usually don't like cop shows. but this one was worth watching.

it quite resembled perception with the collage professor but with more likable characters.

its quite hard to write about it without spoiling anything but just trust me and give it a chance.

i'm grateful to those who watch tv-shows weekly and provide feedback. however, not a big fan of
negative bitchy comments if/when the only reason for them is because a tv-show (or movie) is not as
good as 'the book'. -- tv-show and movies are not books. -- judge and comment on a tv-show (or
movie) on its own merits. <-- my two cents.

and a bit sad about my fellow danes accent when it comes to it.
that's a minor detail of
course, and it's probably worse for me being danish myself and able to hear the underlying
danish more
clearly.

y'know, that's the first thing i thought as well.. having seen hopkins in the role so often, i was
hoping/expecting an english accent.

that being said, i liked the episode. it's twisted.

aye, maybe it's just that we're so used to hopkins' british accent in that particular role, as you
say.

i actually like it better, the show that is, after having watched it a second time now. looking
forward to the following episodes.

not having been spoiled by manhunter or anything as trivial as the books (iirc i have read one or
two, but they are from after hannibal's incarceration), i have found this pilot compelling.

i don't know anything about who or what will graham was supposed to be, so the series' revelation
that he's supposed to be a borderline aspie (aspergers' is soon to lose it's own category in the
dsm-5, btw), seemed odd, at first, but by the end, seems like not a bad move. it gives our "hero" a
foible and makes him delicate while providing a reason for his talent.

i like lawrence fishburne and will give him a chance in almost anything. as for crawford not being
white now, so what? the show needs a splash of colour, and they used an actor who can project an
articulate, charismatic personality with intensity. if you have to add in a minority to break up an
anglo saxon sausage fest, then fishburne is an excellent choice and those faithful to the books
should just be happy they didn't make it a jane or joan crawford.
this is a crawford who appears to have some compassion for graham, but really sees him as a tool to
be used. maybe it's a clich
