grace, a morally and emotionally-conflicted undercover detective, is tormented by the possibility that

i was worried for a moment that the scene wasn't going to cap the show. thank you, thank you, thank
you for allaying my fears!!! now here's hoping this is as good as the trailers seems to indicate.

i wasn't too impressed myself - the lead character is very unsympathetic and the criminals are
pretty cliched. given the number of shows available, this just isn't going to be something i'll
bother with.

i was hoping for a show about a character with high dexterity and sneak-attack who liked to hide in
the shadows...

ditto. alas, we're not in d&d anymore.

despite the protagonist being anti-heroic and characters being somewhat cliche at least its not badly made
like some of the other new shows lately.
i liked how they use extreme long shot alot at the start, gives it a very dystopian feel.
that said some of the sex scenes were abit too disgusting to look at.

i am going to have +1 that.

i just couldn't get involved or motived by the story, it just seemed to be missing something to keep
me interested. so, many things i have seen before. the whole thing could have been dragged in
from the 90's.

as movie critic said it was well shot, but in my opinion it just lacked something.

here is a balanced review (i thought) i liked the comparison to "the wire" which is said to be
totally in a better league..no surprise there

well definately no wire but better than banshee. will watch the first season..

it was actually a pretty good pilot. marton csokas seemed to outshine thandie at times. better than
a lot of other crap on at the moment. lots of those syfy/canadian/sg-1 faces showing up too.

am quite un-impressed, not sure will bother watching the nest episode. this series wont last imho.

i was hoping for something better. all the characters talk in a stagey noir whispers and snarls. the term
"edgy" has come to mean dialogue that contains the "f" word in every other line. the sex between the
husband & wife who do not seem to be getting along was just gratuitous. thank you for uploading the show
and for the comments. here's hoping the spring and summer bring us better quality shows. 🙂 keep in mind
that this is directtv's first go at putting up a show.

sorry but i have to disagree there , not saying that this show is bad but.
banshee maybe less realistic with characters being able to take a beating but it has better action, sex and
more interesting characters and settings+ its well written so its hard to argue with its selling points that are
better than this
show.
