oh i don't mean what he's been in, i mean his acting style. it's pretty much soap opera 101. he does
have moments when there is greater depth but by and large, he doesn't.

wow this is bad.
seriously, i saw the picture and immedately thought how well-produced and probably expensive that was...
...but then actord began talking and it was one tired cliche after another. complete genre-blindness,
obvious plot devices and moronic decisions made to drum up drama.
i even was okay with the scenery - it's vegas, after all, with some suspension of disbelief i could see a
roman theme - resourses are scarse, so rich people wear staff and entertainer outfits from caesar's
palace, and that explains gaudy decor and lush furnishings. there even was an ufc octagon, which was a
nice touch, since vegas is known for that kind of thing.
what i mean is i really wanted to like this. i love "in modern day, mythology turns out to actually be true"
setup as well as a post-apocalyptic one, but seriously, you couldn't dredge anything from the whole
christian mythology except for "angels are cool guys with wings and swords"? go read hellblazer and see
how it's done.

update june 29, 2014: episode two has aired and there are now more than
2800 user ratings and the averages have held steady...with a slight tick upward.
