wow u get astounded easily. i never said that i actually downloaded it and i'm
not ignorant, i just did not find this joke funny. i have a good sense of humor
in that my jokes don't piss anyone off (they are funny to both sides). imo eztv

i didn't fall for it because i have been downloading t.v since south park season
5 but not all people have experience and many of my friends that know nothing
about computers download t.v but have no idea what is actually going on. this is
because i have told them "get utorrent and add mininova & eztv 2ur favorites" so
if they are not interested in computers and just want tv/movies/music it's
unfair to expect them to be able to spot a fake.
my point is not all people are experts and to flame them because they couldn't
spot the fake is silly. if your wife or girlfriend or parents etc ask you a very
simple (to you) question about a computer, do you call them fucking idiots too?
then those friends mentioned above hit me up the next day, saying "wow, i got
that lost file, i thought u said that site never has fakes?" and now question me
when i say "do this" or "go here" so just because i didn't download it doesn't
mean i can't be annoyed about it.
you say your entitled to a joke, which i agree with.
however i now look like a fool for vouching eztv and have already had someone
say "haha, just like eztv never has fakes?" thrown in my face when arguing with
1 of them.
so imo i was entitled to my rant before.
if i am wrong and eztv does more than just get the file from the groups and
index them in a torrent site, enlighten me.

rather than chucking more insults at me (that just make me laugh) why don't you
say what else you do? every time somebody whines about eztv wasting bandwidth
with files that need propers, an admin says "eztv does not cap these shows, we
just make & release the torrents." (not word 4 word but along those lines)
so if i am misinformed about what you actually do then it came from the admins.
i don't know, i guess i just got the feeling that the admins were showing
contempt to it's users by adding the fake file and while most of us could easily
pick it in a number of ways, some people couldn't and they would have been so
happy that they were getting a new lost.

write long posts like yours. you are also twisting my words throughout your
post. (again, no, i don't wish to point out precisely which bits..)
i was not referring to your ignorance of having downloading this torrent. my
belief is that most people would fall for this trick..
the idea in april
fools day is that people get fooled. if it was obviously a trick, then
well.. who gets fooled? however, you are ignorant of the way eztv works and you
are also ignorant of the groups. for example, the groups would _never_ directly
post their releases in torrents. in fact they hate torrents in general.
eztv exists in some ways because of supply and demand. you say you can get the
torrents elsewhere. fine but the popularity of eztv speaks for itself. we
actually fulfil a massive roll. but once again i really cannot be bothered to go
into details. if you force me to go into details by posting another dim-witted
comment then i will do so (i will also ban you).
i do however think you may have found it more funny had you actually downloaded
the avi. for example, it says happy april fools day in big words. so if you did
download it, you would know this was only going to happen once a year. which
begs the question are your friends stupid?
i did not chuckle at your first post. in fact, i found your ignorance and
