i was so excited to get this. i've been waiting for days - my 28.8 baud modem
does tend to take some time downloading my tv files. i don't have a download
cap on my dial-up, but i really wanted to use my phone this week. my husband
kept picking it up, too. and i had to yell at him to hang it up quick before
it lost the connection. i guess i'm the dumbass, because my hard drive only
holds 20mb and my 8088 does not exactly support graphics or videos of any
kind, but still a very cruel joke!

to those of us living in 1994, this was not funny!

i've got a bandwidth limit too, and yeah the episode probably cost me money. but
in the end, eztv has consistently provided a reliable and free service to us all
for years and has done so without a single cent being contributed by us the
users. it was funny. i mean really, you're going to bitch about 'fake files'
when we are all participating in copyright infringement anyway? what you're
doing in illegal in 99% of developed western nations as per intellectual
property laws enacted under the 1994 trips agreement administered by the wto.
wake up and accept that downloading counterfeit copyrighted material guarantees
no basis for quality and we are at the whim of the providers. if the worst thing
eztv is going to do is pull an april fools joke on us once a year i think we
should be pretty appreciative.

people dont download this its a april fools day joke it plays a little bit of
lost then goes onto flavor of love! i spent 2 hours downloading it and was
really looking forward to watching it i was really pissed off when i did watch
it lol

i have to say, when the april fools thing came onto the screen i had a laugh and
when that other show came on laughed even harder! however i expected it to cut
back to lost after about a minute and was shocked when it didn't. i think it
would have been much funnier if it just cut back to the regular program, cause
then every one would have been fine with it 🙂 but still, i did have a good
laugh. (my flat mates didnt like my misuse of the cap though...

why on earth would people with download limits setup an rss feed to
automatically download things for them..... big mistake.

if you aren't happy with eztv's joke, bugger off and use another site. i don't
suppose the eztv staff will actually care.

and for all the moaners who are not happy with using up a fraction of their hard
drive spaces on a file that isn't what they expected, i really feel for you.
considering 350mb is the equivalent to about $10......arghhhh. sorry, just the
thought that anyone can be that upset with this joke is dumbfounding.

thanks eztv and keep up the good work. without you, i would have to trawl
through loads of other sites just to find the shows i like.
